President Prabowo Supports the Establishment of a Top Indian Campus in Indonesia
Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto supports the establishment of a top Indian campus in Indonesia. This is a commitment to strengthen strategic cooperation in the field of education.
The plan is for the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) campuses in Indonesia as well as the exploration of the establishment of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), to be established in Indonesia.
President Prabowo conveyed this after holding a bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 7. President Prabowo said that this support was in line with the commitment of the two leaders to strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, research, technology, culture, and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
However, the cooperation does not stop there. President Prabowo said the government also supports increasing the number of Indonesian students studying in India.
