Middle East Conflict Gets Hotter, President Prabowo and PM Modi Push for Resolution through Dialogue
Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto and Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi expressed their common opinion to continue to support the peaceful resolution of conflicts in the Middle East with an approach of dialogue, diplomacy, and international law.
This was conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto in a joint statement after a bilateral meeting with PM Modi at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 7.
Both countries also agreed that the conflict in Palestine must be resolved through the Two-State Solution or Two-State Solution mechanism. This mechanism is the foundation for sustainable peace in Palestine.
In addition to discussing the Middle East issue, President Prabowo and Prime Minister Modi also exchanged views on various regional and global issues. Both emphasized their respective countries' commitment to supporting world peace and stability.
