School Holidays, KCIC Spreads Whoosh Promo with Ticket Discounts up to IDR 200,000
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) presents a special promo during the school holiday period by offering a discount of up to Rp200,000 for Whoosh Fast Trains tickets and cashback of up to 50 percent.
KCIC Corporate Secretary General Eva Chairunisa said the school holiday period was one of the moments with high community mobility. Therefore, KCIC presents a promo so that the community can enjoy traveling using Whoosh at a more economical cost.
"School holidays are one of the periods with high community mobility, especially for family travel. Through this promo program, we want to give passengers the opportunity to enjoy traveling using Whoosh at a more economical price so that the holiday moments become more enjoyable," said Eva in an official statement, Tuesday, July 7.
Eva said that the promo program is available through two official KCIC ticket sales partners, namely Traveloka and Tiket.com. Both promos have limited quotas and can end at any time when the quota is exhausted.
Through Traveloka, continued Eva, passengers can enjoy discounts of up to IDR 200,000 by using the 77EPICWHOOSH coupon code. This promo is valid until July 10, 2026 for all departure periods.
The details, the maximum deduction of Rp150,000 applies to a minimum transaction of Rp350,000.
Meanwhile, a discount of up to Rp180,000 is given for the purchase of at least two passengers with a minimum transaction of Rp300,000.
The largest discount, namely Rp200,000, applies to the purchase of round-trip tickets without a minimum transaction value.
In addition, passengers who purchase tickets through the Tiket.com application can also take advantage of the Back-and-Forth with Family promo with Whoosh using the WHOOSHFAMILY coupon code.
The promo which runs until July 12, 2026, offers a cashback of 50 percent up to IDR 300,000 for a minimum transaction of IDR 1.5 million.
"Tiket.com promo is valid for purchasing Whoosh tickets via the application on Android and iOS devices with a minimum of four passengers for a round trip. Cashback is given in the form of Blibli Ticket Points which can be used up to three months after payment is completed," said Eva.
KCIC noted the high enthusiasm of the public to use Whoosh during the school holidays.
In the period from June 24 to July 6, 2026, the total passenger volume reached 262,849 people or an average of around 20,000 passengers per day.
The highest passenger volume was recorded on July 3, 2026 with a total of 23,408 passengers in one day, reflecting the high interest of the public to use the Whoosh service for mobility during the holidays.
Eva said that the promo is expected to be an option for people who want to enjoy the school holiday trip with more efficient costs.
