Ticket Sales Did Not Meet Expectations, Isyana Sarasvati Cancelled a Concert in Kuala Lumpur
JAKARTA - Isyana Sarasvati's solo concert, which was scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 17, was confirmed to be canceled.
This cancellation was announced by the label, Redrose Entertainment, along with Vault Vision Agency, through an official statement uploaded on Instagram.
"To everyone who has been waiting for Isyana Sarasvati Live in Kuala Lumpur, with deep regret we announce the cancellation of the Isyana Sarasvati Live in Kuala Lumpur event, which was originally scheduled for July 17, 2026," the label's statement read, quoting the description of the upload, Tuesday, July 7.
Publicly, it was said that ticket sales did not meet the expectations of the organizers.
"After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to continue with this event, as ticket sales are currently not at the threshold required to hold the show responsibly," he added.
The organizers also apologized. They are well aware that this cancellation has disappointed Isyana fans who have bought tickets.
"We understand how disappointing this news is, especially for those who have bought tickets and made plans to join us. We know many of you have taken the time, arranged travel, and are looking forward to sharing this special night with Isyana," said the organizers.
"Your support, enthusiasm, and commitment mean more to us than words can express, and we sincerely thank you for every effort you have made to be a part of this show," he continued. "We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by this cancellation."
Furthermore, the organizer stated that the refund for those who have purchased tickets will be directly informed via email in the next few days.
"Thank you for your understanding, patience, and love and support that continues to flow for Isyana. We still hope that we will have the opportunity to return to Kuala Lumpur and share an unforgettable night together in the near future," he concluded.
