Alleged MBG Bribe in Pamekasan, Korwil BGN and Two Reporters Investigated by Police

PAMEKASAN - The Pamekasan Police, East Java, have examined as many as three people related to alleged bribes in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program involving the Regional Coordinator (Korwil) of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) of Pamekasan Regency.

"The three people we have examined are two people from the reporting party, namely from the Forum of Students and Revolutionary Society (Formaasi) and the Nusantara Fact-Finding Team (TPF-N) and one person from the reported party, namely the BGN Korwil of Pamekasan Regency," said Public Relations Officer of the Pamekasan Police, Ipda Yoni Evan Pratama, quoted by Antara, Monday, July 6.

The case of alleged bribery of the MBG case in Pamekasan Regency is being investigated by the Pamekasan Police Criminal Investigation Team based on a public report stating that there has been a practice of bribery and abuse of authority by the regional coordinator of the Pamekasan Regency National Nutrition Agency.

In the report submitted by the community community on behalf of the Formaasi and TPF-N, it was stated that the Korwil MBG of Pamekasan Regency had committed several types of alleged violations of the law.

Among them are the practice of bribery during his tenure as Korwil MBG Pamekasan Regency, ethical violations with double posts, the illegal construction of MBG kitchen infrastructure because it is not equipped with Wastewater Treatment Facilities (IPAL), and alleged illegal collection practices (pungli) in determining the right of the MBG kitchen construction coordinate point.

"Currently we are scheduling a summons to all MBG kitchen heads in Pamekasan Regency to complete the investigation," he said.

Evan also asked the public to be calm and entrust the handling of the case to the police.

"We also plan to re-examine the accused to complete the investigation file," he said.

Previously on June 6, 2026, the reported Korwil MBG of Pamekasan Regency HR had visited the Pamekasan Police and underwent a marathon examination for almost 10 hours in the interrogation room of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pamekasan Police.

At that time, he denied that he was involved in the collusion of bribe funds in terms of MBG kitchen operational permits as the complainant's accusation.
