Opening the State Visit that Strengthened the Strategic Partnership between Indonesia and India, President Prabowo Welcomed PM Narendra Modi
JAKARTA - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto welcomed the arrival of Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi in the country on Monday, July 6, 2026 which marked the close relationship between the two countries. The arrival of PM Modi in Indonesia is in the name of a state visit that lasts for three days. As a form of respect, the plane carrying the Indian PM was escorted by 3 F-16 fighter planes and 2 Sukhoi fighter planes when entering Indonesian airspace.
