Jakarta Creative Catat Rp55 Billion in Transactions

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Creative Festival (JKF) 2026 series, which took place on July 4-5, 2026 at Istora Senayan, recorded a total transaction value of Rp. 55 billion, including financing business matching transactions, and SME exports.

In addition, through the Indonesian Intermediation Acceleration Program (PINISI), a commitment to bank financing to corporations worth Rp575 billion was built.

Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for DKI Jakarta Province, Iwan Setiawan in Jakarta, Sunday, said that JKF 2026 presents a collaboration space that brings together the government, the business world, UMKM players, creative communities, academics, financial institutions, media, and the community in one mutually reinforcing ecosystem.

JKF 2026 also presents various activities ranging from UMKM exhibitions, business matching, creative economy festivals, education, public services, to various competitions.

A total of 377 tenants were involved, consisting of 290 UMKM tenants and 87 service, education, and community tenants, collaborating with 67 institutions and agencies.

Meanwhile, during the two days of implementation, the JKF was visited by around 15 thousand visitors.

In addition, JKF 2026 also produced a commitment to cooperation between banks and young filmmakers at the Jakarta Youth Film Festival. This confirms that the film and music industries are strategic sectors that drive new economies in the DKI Jakarta Province.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Uus Kuswanto, in his remarks emphasized that JKF 2026 had shown the importance of creativity and collaboration as the foundation for the development of Jakarta's economy.

According to him, the momentum of JKF is becoming increasingly strategic in welcoming the five centuries of Jakarta City and the transformation towards a global city.

Strengthening creative economy, digitization, innovation, and empowerment of MSMEs will continue to be an important foundation in improving Jakarta's economic competitiveness.

In the future, the Jakarta Creative Festival is expected to continue to grow as a strategic collaboration platform that strengthens the ecosystem of MSMEs and the creative economy, expands access to financing and markets, accelerates digitization, and encourages the birth of new innovations and entrepreneurship.

The spirit of collaboration that is built through JKF is expected to be able to drive the growth of Jakarta's economy which is increasingly inclusive, competitive, and sustainable, as well as strengthen Jakarta's position as a global city.
