WMS Boyong New Honda Vario EVO 160 at JFK, Take a Look at Its Specifications

JAKARTA - After officially launching last month, Honda's latest motorcycle, the New Vario EVO 160, was displayed at the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK), Central Jakarta, which was brought by the main Honda motorcycle dealer area of Jakarta - Tangerang, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS).

As one of the models that has made a major contribution to Honda motorcycle sales in the Jakarta-Tangerang area, the Honda Vario since it was first released nationally in 2006 continues to gain high trust from consumers.

Now the latest generation of Honda Vario, namely the New Honda Vario EVO 160 comes with an evolution in the design side that is increasingly sporty. The front and side body appearance now looks sharper and more aggressive as well as aerodynamic. This refreshment makes the appearance more modern without leaving the Vario DNA.

Division Head of Sales PT Wahana Makmur Sejati, Olivia Widyasuwita, said that the Honda Vario has become one of the choices of people in the Jakarta - Tangerang area in supporting daily mobility.

"Through the New Honda Vario EVO 160, we present a refresh that is not only visible in terms of design, but also new features that further support the driving comfort of its users," he said in an official statement received, Sunday, July 6.

In detail, in terms of a more modern appearance. The New Honda Vario EVO 160 also gets changes to the USB Type-C Charger which is placed in the front compartment to make it easier to charge electronic devices during travel. The presence of the Pop Up Center Hook which can be folded when not in use also provides more practicality for riders when carrying luggage in daily activities.

In terms of performance, the New Honda Vario EVO 160 is equipped with a 160cc 4-valve eSP+ liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of up to 11.3 kW at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.0 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The more responsive engine character provides a pleasant acceleration to support daily mobility and medium-distance travel.

Other supporting features are also complete, ranging from the Honda Smart Key System which is equipped with an alarm and answer back system, full LED lighting system, informative digital meter panel, to a 18-liter luggage capacity that can support various rider needs. In the ABS ACC type, the braking system has been equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) technology which helps increase safety.

The new Honda Vario EVO 160 CBS type, presents the Glossy Blue Lime and Glossy White Red colors. Meanwhile, the CBS Nitro type comes with the choice of Nitro Matte Black Red and Nitro Glossy Grey Lime colors. For the highest variant of the ABS ACC type, it comes with exclusive color choices starting from Ultimate Matte Black, Ultimate Matte White, Ultimate Matte Red, and Ultimate Matte Purple.

The New Honda Vario EVO 160 is marketed for the Jakarta and Tangerang areas with a On The Road (OTR) price of Rp. 28.7 million for the CBS type, Rp. 29 million for the CBS Nitro type, and Rp. 32.5 million for the ABS ACC type.
