Ade Suherman Supports Acceleration of Jalan Sejajar Rel Pasar Minggu, Aspiration of Residents Should Not Be Delayed

JAKARTA - Member of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD from the PKS Faction and Member of Commission B, Ade Suherman, welcomed the commitment of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, who targets the completion of the construction of a road parallel to the railway in the Pasar Minggu area next year after the land acquisition process is completed this year. According to Ade, the acceleration of the project is a long-awaited step for the community because it is one of the problems that residents have repeatedly conveyed during the recess. (Antara News)

Ade revealed that the congestion in the Pasar Minggu corridor to the area around the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) has become a consistent complaint from the public. Therefore, he assessed that the road project parallel to the railway is not merely the construction of infrastructure, but also an effort to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and improve the quality of mobility of residents of South Jakarta.

"The community has waited too long for the completion of this project. Almost every recess there is an aspiration that asks for the road parallel to the Pasar Minggu railway to be immediately completed because the congestion is felt by residents. I welcome the Governor's commitment to making this project a priority," said Ade Suherman.

According to Ade, the project has passed several periods of leadership without a complete completion. Therefore, the commitment that has been conveyed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government must be accompanied so that it does not experience delays again.

"What the community needs today is not just promises, but realization. The target that has been conveyed must be a joint commitment of all regional devices so that land acquisition and physical work can run according to schedule."

As a member of the DPRD who has a constituency in South Jakarta, Ade emphasized that he will carry out oversight functions for the implementation of the project, including ensuring that the land acquisition process is carried out transparently, in accordance with regulations, and continues to prioritize the rights of affected communities.

He also reminded that during the construction process, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through related agencies ensures that traffic engineering, aspects of occupational safety, and mitigation of impacts on community activities are carried out optimally so as not to cause new problems.

"Construction must provide the greatest benefit to the community, but its implementation must also be orderly, safe, and pay attention to the interests of residents around the project site."

Ade hopes that the completion of the road parallel to the Pasar Minggu railway will be able to reduce traffic density, which has been one of the main congestion points in South Jakarta, as well as strengthening inter-regional connectivity.

"It's time for this project that has been delayed for years to be realized. The public needs certainty, not repeated delays. The DPRD will continue to monitor so that this commitment is truly realized and the benefits are immediately felt by the residents," concluded Ade Suherman.
