Head of Bakom Emphasizes Law Enforced Without Regard to Hair in the MBG Case

Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) Muhammad Qodari said the alleged involvement of active TNI soldiers and the designation of active police officers as suspects in the alleged corruption case of the Free Nutritious Meal program management showed that the law was enforced without discrimination.

Qodari emphasized that the legal process in the case of alleged corruption in the management of the MBG at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) in 2025-2026 is currently being processed by the Attorney General's Office.

"As the President said, the law is now enforced without regard to background," said Qodari in response to a journalist's question, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, July 4.

He stated that the legal process that took place would not look at the origin or background of the suspects, but the activities they carried out when working within the scope of BGN.

"So, it's not because of his background as a policeman, not because of his background as a non-policeman, but because of the problems that occurred while he was assigned to the place where the case occurred, namely BGN," he said.

Regarding this, Qodarimeminta all parties to wait for the ongoing legal process and future developments.

Previously, the Attorney General's Office announced that it had found evidence of the involvement of active TNI soldiers in the alleged corruption case of the MBG program management.

Director of Investigation of the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi said the TNI member had the initials BU as the Deputy Secretary for the Provision and Distribution of BGN.

Not only that, the Attorney General's Office had also previously appointed an active member of the National Police with the initials LMI who had served as Deputy Secretary for Promotion and Cooperation of BGN as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of MBG governance at BGN.
