Justin Bieber Reportedly Joins Madonna, Shakira, and BTS at the World Cup Final

JAKARTA - The 2026 FIFA World Cup final could get an added attraction from the entertainment side. Justin Bieber is rumored to be in talks to perform in a halftime show at the final along with a number of big names, including Madonna, Shakira, and BTS.

Reported by Gulf News, Friday, July 3, citing TMZ, FIFA is said to be exploring the possibility of including Bieber on the list of performers at the July 19 final at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey. During the tournament, the stadium is temporarily named New York New Jersey Stadium.

If the plan goes ahead, the halftime show of the World Cup final could potentially be a big highlight. Moreover, the list of performers is said to include some of the world's biggest music names.

Bieber has recently come into contact with the spotlight of the World Cup. He attended the opening ceremony in Inglewood last month with Hailey Bieber.

During the event, Bieber was also said to have surprised VIP guests with a limited appearance in the area next to the event.

Gulf News wrote, Bieber's appearance in recent times has made fans curious again. He appeared in a number of musical moments that were not always announced far in advance.

Insiders describe Bieber's appearance pattern as more of an occasional appearance, not a traditional tour. In such a pattern, a one-night stage like the World Cup final is considered suitable for the way Bieber reappears in public.

Bieber also released a live recording of his performance at Coachella gradually. Other releases are said to follow soon. This makes his musical activities feel more episodic than promoting music through a long tour.

For FIFA, Bieber's presence can add entertainment appeal to the world's biggest sporting stage. However, so far there has been no official confirmation that Bieber will perform in the 2026 World Cup final halftime show.

If the final match presents drama on the field, the halftime show also has the potential to be the subject of conversation after the match ends.
