JF3 Fashion Festival 2026 Building the Future of Fashion through Collaboration and Innovation

JAKARTA - The fashion world is now moving far beyond the latest trends and collections. Behind every fashion design, there is a story about creativity, innovation, and business strategies that are the foundation of a brand to continue to survive.

This spirit is again presented in the JF3 Fashion Festival 2026, an annual fashion event that for more than two decades has consistently become a meeting place for fashion industry players from both domestic and foreign countries.

Carrying the theme "Recrafted: Shaping the Future", JF3 this year wants to show the future of fashion built through collaboration, exchange of ideas, and strengthening the creative ecosystem.

Not only a stage for the latest collections of designers, the festival which took place on July 23-29, 2026 at the Fashion Tent, Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading also presents various programs that open up development opportunities for young talents to brands that are growing.

In the midst of increasingly dynamic industry changes, today's designers are required not only to be able to produce visually appealing works. They also need to understand the character of the market, build a strong identity, to create a sustainable business. Departing from these needs, JF3 continues to strengthen its role as a platform that bridges creativity with real opportunities in the industry.

JF3 Advisor, Thresia Mareta sees Indonesia has a large capital to become an important player in the global fashion industry. However, according to him, this potential requires an ecosystem that is able to connect various parties so that they can develop together.

"Indonesia has a huge wealth of craftsmanship, materials, knowledge, and cultural identity. But all of that is not enough if it just stops as a potential," said Thresia at Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

"It needs to be processed, directed, and connected to the right system. At JF3, we want to open up space so that designers not only appear, but also develop, exchange, and find opportunities to go further," he added.

This commitment is also reflected in the journey of JF3 since it was first held in 2004. For more than 20 years, this festival has developed into a collaborative platform that brings together designers, MSMEs, craftsmen, educational institutions, creative communities, buyers, media, and international partners in one ecosystem that supports each other.

For the Chairman of the JF3 Fashion Festival, Soegianto Nagaria, the strength of the fashion industry is not built through one event alone, but through consistency in creating a growing space for industry players.

"Through JF3, we connect the creative process with real market access, from the runway directly to the consumer. A strong fashion industry does not grow from one event, but from an ecosystem that is built consistently. We believe that creativity supported by the right infrastructure will generate a much greater economic impact," said Soegianto.

This year, the JF3 stage will be enlivened by more than 50 designers and brands from Indonesia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, to Europe. A number of names that have been part of the JF3 journey, such as Tities Sapoetra, Hartono Gan, AMOTSYAMSURIMUDA, Adrie Basuki, Sofie, HOWARD LAURENT, RAEGITAZORO, and LAKON Indonesia, will again showcase their latest works.

Not only that, this festival also became a space for the emergence of new perspectives through the presence of young designers such as Billy Tjong, YASA, The Theme, to Super Sentimental Secret Theory. Collaboration with the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) and APPMI also further enriches the variety of works that will be displayed throughout the festival.

The international atmosphere is also increasingly felt through the participation of designers from France, South Korea, Singapore, Laos, to the Philippines. Their presence is not only enriching the variety of collections on the runway, but also opening up opportunities for cross-border collaboration that is expected to be able to encourage the development of Indonesian fashion on the global stage.

Apart from the fashion parade, JF3 still maintains its various flagship programs that focus on talent development, such as Future Fashion Designer (FFD), JF3 Model Search, to the PINTU program which brings together Indonesian and French designers through various incubation, residency, and acceleration activities.

Visitors can also enjoy Fashion Village which presents dozens of selected brands, as well as CODE.STRT, a streetwear and urban culture festival that will be held again at Summarecon Mall Serpong.

Through all these series, JF3 Fashion Festival 2026 wants to emphasize one thing, namely the future of fashion is not only born from stunning collections on the runway, but also from the process of learning, collaboration, and an ecosystem that is able to make industry players continue to grow.
