Support the Acceleration of the People's School Program, SIG Supplies Environmentally Friendly Construction Materials in Four Provinces
PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) supports the acceleration of the construction of People's Schools, a national priority program of the Government to expand access to education for the community, through the supply of environmentally friendly construction materials in four provinces, namely Central Java, East Java, South Sulawesi, and North Maluku.
Through its business portfolio, PT Varia Usaha Beton (VUB), SIG has supplied more than 28 thousand m3 of ready-mixed concrete and thousands of precast concrete units to support the construction of educational facilities and dormitories that are targeted to reach thousands of students in various regions in Indonesia.
The development of People's Schools, which is being accelerated by the government, requires support for the supply of high-quality, reliable, and sustainable building materials to ensure that projects are completed on time with safe construction standards and are comfortable for students. In this project, VUB supplies ready-to-use concrete for the main structure of the building and various precast concrete products for supporting infrastructure, including square piles, u-ditch (precast concrete U-shaped), u-ditch cover, box culvert (precast concrete box-shaped), panel fence, paving block, and kanstin (road barrier environment with paving block area).
SIG's Corporate Secretary, Vita Mahreyni, said that SIG's involvement in the construction of the People's School is part of the company's commitment to supporting the improvement of the quality of Indonesian human resources through the provision of superior and sustainable construction materials.

Since December 2025, VUB has supplied 28,582 m3 of ready-mixed concrete, total pile poles along 52,170 meters, paving blocks with an area of 27,195 m2, u-ditch as many as 1,544 units, u-ditch cover as many as 2,502 units, panel fence as many as 2,766 units, and columns 524 units. The supply of construction materials will continue until all project work is completed.
