Russia-Ukraine Exchange of Attacks, Zelenskyy Disappointed that Western Coalition Breaks Promise to Supply Missiles

JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Western partners of not fulfilling their promises to supply missiles to Ukraine.

In mid-June, The New York Times newspaper reported that Ukraine was experiencing a serious shortage of interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system.

"If our partners deliver what they promised on time... We will not discuss or disseminate details of the delivery. I am sure this is a big problem related to our partners," Zelenskyy said, as quoted by the Ukrainian news portal Novyny.LIVE reported by ANTARA from Sputnik, Friday, July 3.

The Ukrainian president considers it unfair if Kyiv has to seek funds to acquire anti-ballistic missiles, but then still has to make various efforts so that the missiles are actually sent to Ukraine.

For example, Zelenskyy said Norway had offered funding for the procurement of 200 missiles, but so far not a single missile has arrived in Ukraine.
