JAKARTA - The number of deaths due to a terrorist attack on a cafe in Damascus, Syria, has increased to nine people, with 20 others injured.

Syria TV reported that the explosion occurred at one of the cafes on An Naser Street in Damascus on Thursday, July 2.

According to initial information, a homemade bomb weighing about 1 kilogram was detonated in the cafe, causing damage.

It is reported that the investigation is still ongoing to identify the responsible parties.
