JAKARTA - Model and celebrity Paula Verhoeven shared an emotional moment through a post on her personal social media. The former wife of Baim Wong could not hold back tears when she saw her eldest son officially stepping into elementary school (SD).

In a post on Instagram Story, Paula shared a selfie of herself wearing a maroon hijab. While supporting her chin, Paula's gaze seemed to be tear-stained, showing the remains of a tearful cry.

"Since morning I have been crying. It feels mixed. I am touched, proud, and sad to see my sister go to elementary school," wrote Paula Verhoeven, quoted by VOI, Friday, July 3.

For Paula, seeing her children grow up to this stage is an extraordinary gift. She also wrote a prayer that her children would always be under God's protection and grow into people with good morals.

"Thank you, God, for accompanying every process of growth and development of my children so far. I always leave them in your care. May every step be filled with useful knowledge, strong faith, good manners and adab, and a heart that is always close to you," he continued.

Interestingly, in the same upload, Paula also inserted a special message addressed to herself. She appreciates her struggle so far in playing the role of a mother.

"Thank you Paula. Thank you for persevering, learning, and continuing to fight to be the best mother I can be. It's not always easy, but thank God it's gotten to this point. Bismillah," said Paula while attaching a white heart emoji.
