BMKG Forecasts Jabodetabek Temperature to Reach 34 Degrees, Bogor to Watch Out for Local Rain
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) regions on Friday, July 3, will be dominated by cloudy to cloudy conditions with air temperatures ranging from 20 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Relatively stable weather is expected to support community activities, although light rain is potentially occurring locally in some parts of Bogor in the afternoon and evening.
In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is expected to be cloudy to cloudy from morning to evening. The air temperature ranges from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 44-92 percent. All areas of Jakarta, from Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta to the Thousand Islands, are predicted not to experience significant rain throughout the day.
Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to experience cloudy weather in the morning. Entering the afternoon to the afternoon, there is the potential for light rain that is local, especially in some Bogor districts.
The air temperature in Bogor City and Regency ranges from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius, making it the region with the coldest temperature in Jabodetabek.
In Depok City, the weather is predicted to be cloudy with an air temperature between 24 to 34 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions also occur in Bekasi which has an air temperature ranging from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the Tangerang area is predicted to be cloudy with an air temperature between 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.
BMKG urges the public to maintain adequate body fluids when carrying out activities outdoors because the air temperature during the day can reach 34 degrees Celsius. Residents who carry out activities in the Bogor area and the Puncak area are also advised to bring umbrellas or raincoats as a precaution against local rain in the afternoon.
