Disomasi Gara-gara Lagu 'Lalaki Langit Lalanang Bejat', Bupati Purwakarta Koordinasi ke Pengacara

PURWAKARTA - The Regent of Purwakarta, West Java, Saepul Bahri Binzein has not decided on the open summons of the West Java Legal Aid Agency (JBH) regarding his Sundanese-language song entitled "Lalaki Langit Lalanang Bejat".

"I will consult with my lawyer first," said Binzein as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 2.

He said that consultation with lawyers needed to be carried out to determine the attitude towards the JBH open summons.

"If for words that are considered controversial, I apologize. But if for the summons, because it is related to the law, I have to consult with my lawyers first," he said.

According to him, the lyrics of the song are actually a work of poetry that is arranged into a song, written several years ago as a personal reflection.

"It's a poem and a song created in 2020, telling about myself. It started from a reflection on my own behavior which I thought at that time I was naughty," he said.

However, he apologized for the noise and inconvenience that had arisen due to the lyrics of the song.

"I apologize if there are parties who feel uncomfortable with the lyrics of the song. However, I do not intend to offend certain parties. It is purely a story about myself," he said.
