JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas on Thursday, July 2 will be dominated by cloudy to cloudy conditions with air temperatures ranging from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius.

Relatively stable weather is expected to support community activities, although cloud cover is predicted to increase in the afternoon and evening in a number of areas.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is expected to be sunny and cloudy from morning to noon. Entering the afternoon and evening, most of Jakarta will be cloudy without significant rain potential.

The air temperature ranges from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 50-90 percent. South Jakarta and East Jakarta are expected to be the areas with the highest temperature during the day.

Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to experience sunny cloudy weather throughout the day with air temperatures ranging from 22 to 31 degrees Celsius. The Puncak, Cisarua, and southern Bogor Regency areas remain the region with the coldest temperature in Jabodetabek, especially in the morning and evening.

In Depok City, the weather is predicted to be sunny with a temperature of 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are also predicted to occur in Tangerang with an air temperature ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bekasi is predicted to be the region with the highest temperature in Jabodetabek, reaching 34 degrees Celsius during the day. Even though the weather tends to be sunny, the public is still advised to anticipate exposure to heat when they are outside.

BMKG urges the public to maintain adequate body fluids and use protection from direct sunlight, such as hats, umbrellas, or sunscreens, especially when they are active from 11.00 to 15.00 WIB when the air temperature is at its peak.

In general, the weather in Jabodetabek on Thursday is expected to be quite conducive for office activities, travel, and outdoor activities.
