PLN Jakarta Connects 1,500 Customers at Once, Speeds Up New Installation and Adds Power

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Parent Unit (UID) Greater Jakarta completed the simultaneous activation of new installation and power addition services for 1,500 customers in Jakarta and its surroundings. This step was taken to accelerate the fulfillment of household and business electricity needs in the midst of increasing demand for services.

The simultaneous ignition includes household customers, small businesses, and customers who apply for additional power to support activities and business development.

PLN UID Jakarta Raya General Manager Moch. Andy Adchaminoerdin said the acceleration of connection was part of the company's efforts to improve the quality of service to customers.

"PLN UID Jakarta Raya wants every customer to feel the ease from the application to the electricity connection. We are here so that electricity needs can be met with a simple, clear, and fast process," said Andy in a written statement, Wednesday (1/7).

According to him, faster connections allow the public to immediately use electricity for various needs, ranging from household activities to supporting business productivity.

PLN also continues to strengthen service transformation through digitization so that the service process is easier to access.

Andy explained that all electricity services can now be carried out through the PLN Mobile application, ranging from new installation applications, power addition, monitoring the status of applications, purchasing electricity tokens, paying bills, to submitting complaints.

"We hope that this facility can provide a more practical, transparent, and convenient service experience for all customers," he said.

PLN invites the public to use PLN Mobile as the main channel for electricity services so that the submission and monitoring of services can be carried out faster without having to come to the service office.
