Ariana Grande Changes Schedule of Three Eternal Sunshine Concerts for Safety
JAKARTA - Ariana Grande has rescheduled three Eternal Sunshine Tour concerts in the United States due to production constraints. The decision was made to ensure that the show runs safely and according to plan.
Launching a report by E! News, Wednesday, July 1, the changed schedule includes one concert in New York City and two concerts in Boston.
Grande apologized via Instagram Story on June 29. He said the schedule change was the best and safest choice after his team found production problems.
"The most important thing for us is safety, first and foremost, and making sure you all see the show as it was designed to be," Grande wrote.
The concert at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, which was originally scheduled for July 12, was moved to July 14. The venue said the decision was made so that all productions could be safely and according to plan.
According to E! News, Grande's other three dates at the Brooklyn arena on July 16, 18, and 19 will go ahead as planned.
In Boston, changes also took place at the TD Garden. The concert, which was originally scheduled for July 22, was moved to July 23. Meanwhile, the July 24 concert was rescheduled to July 26.
All tickets remain valid for the new date. Ticket holders will receive additional information directly from the organizer.
The Eternal Sunshine Tour is one of the important tours for Grande. The 33-year-old singer is scheduled to perform in a number of cities in the United States and London from June 6 to September 1.
In a podcast Good Hang with Amy Poehler in November, Grande referred to this tour as a kind of "last celebration". He said he would not necessarily go on tour again in the near future.
"I'm so excited to do this little tour, but it might not happen again for a really long time," Grande said.
Grande also ensured that he would give his best performance on the tour.
"I'm going to give it everything and it's going to be beautiful," he said.
