Prabowo Leads the Ceremony, Gibran, Jokowi to JK Attend Bhayangkara's Birthday

BOGOR - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka arrived at the location of the 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony at the Police Training Unit (Satlat) Brimob Polri, Cikeas, Bogor Regency, West Java, at 7.56 WIB, Wednesday, July 1 to lead the series of the culmination of the anniversary of the Bhayangkara Corps.

The President and Vice President arrived and were greeted by a ceremonial guard of honor to the honor podium. The President greeted a number of invited guests, including the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, the wife of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrahman Wahid, Sinta Nuriyah Wahid, the Chairperson of the DPR RI Puan Maharani, and the Chairperson of the National Economic Council Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

The 80th anniversary of Bhayangkara was held under the theme "80 Years of Police Service for the Community" and for the first time it was held outside the National Monument (Monas) area, Jakarta, which has been the regular location for the commemoration.

The election of Satlat Brimob Cikeas is said to be a representation of the openness of the National Police to the public regarding the education process and the formation of the character of personnel.

This ceremony involved around 9,000 participants from the elements of the National Police, TNI, and various community components, with a series of events including parades, honorary signs, parades, defiles, and thanksgiving.
