KPK OTT in Kuansing Related to the Sale of Positions, 1 Unit Pajero Car Seized

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) in the Kuantan Singingi Regency area related to the sale and purchase of positions. A four-wheeled vehicle, namely a Mitsubishi Pajero, is said to have been secured in the activity.

"This matter is related to the alleged bribery for a position in Kuansing Regency," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 30.

Budi said the initial suspicion of the silent operation was related to the position of the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Kuansing Regency. However, he did not elaborate further.

Because, the KPK still needs to ask for information from Regent Suhardiman Amby and Zulkarnaen as the Regent of Kuansing Regency who fled.

"The KPK appeals to the Regent and the Regent of Kuansing Regency to be cooperative and surrender to the KPK because the statements from the Regent and also the Regent are needed in the legal process currently underway at the KPK."

The KPK has secured 10 people from the activity. Of the total secured, five were taken to the KPK's Red and White building for intensive examination.

The five people taken to the KPK office have not been detailed. But, they consist of three private parties, one ASN party in Kuantan Singingi Regency, and one family member from the state organizer or ASN of Kuantan Singingi Regency.
