KPK secures 10 people during OTT in Kuansing, the Regent-Sekda fled

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed 10 people involved in a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) in the Kuantan Singingi and Jakarta regions since Monday, June 29.

However, the Regent of Kuansing, Suhardiman Amby and Zulkarnaen as the Regent of Kuansing Regency, had fled.

"Nine of them were secured in the Kuantan Singingi area and another one was secured in the Jakarta area," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 30.

Currently, Budi said that five of the 10 people who were secured were undergoing intensive examinations at the KPK office. "Three people from the private sector, one person is an ASN in Kuantan Singingi Regency, and the other person is a family member of the state organizer or ASN of Kuantan Singingi Regency," he said.

The current KPK is also still looking for the whereabouts of Suhardiman and Zulkarnaen. Both are suspected of being parties concerned because this operation is related to the sale and purchase of positions.

"KPK appeals to the Regent and the Secretary of the Kuantan Singingi Regency to be cooperative and surrender to the KPK," said Budi.

"Because the information from the Regent and the Secretary of the Regional Secretary is needed in the legal process that is currently underway at the KPK," he continued.
