Razer And ClearBot Collaborate To Design Marine Garbage Cleaner Robot

JAKARTA - Razer announced its latest collaboration with ClearBot to develop robots to clean marine debris. This collaboration is carried out in conjunction with the celebration of World Oceans Day to clean up garbage automatically.

This collaboration is also in line with the #GoGreenWithRazer program which aims for the environment. Considering that currently more than 11 million tons of plastic enter the oceans every year.

This led Razer to collaborate with the ClearBot Team in designing an adequate marine cleaning robot. Through Green Investment, Razer contributes by providing technical expertise in the development of ClearBot so that it can be mass marketed.

“We are very happy to have the opportunity to work with a startup company that focuses on saving the environment. ClearBot's unique AI and advanced Machine Learning technology will help governments and organizations around the world expand their efforts to save the environment," wrote Razer.

The newly designed and fully automated robot is armed with cutting-edge AI and machine learning capabilities that can detect marine plastic waste within 2 meters of rough waters. This robot can collect up to 250 kg of plastic in 1 cycle while working on solar energy.

As is known, last March, Razer also just held an environmental action with the #GoGreenWithRazer movement led by its environmental mascot, Sneki Snek. In this event, Sneki Snek has succeeded in achieving the target of saving 300,000 trees.

They will also launch a new souvenir to save more trees, which will be launched at every 100,000 trees target until 1 million trees are reached.
