JAKARTA - The Directorate of Narcotics Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police has dismantled the practice of circulating G-list hard drugs using a modus operandi disguised as a coffee shop business in the Mustika Jaya area, Bekasi City, West Java.
Panit 2 Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya AKP Mokhammad Fatoni explained that the disclosure made on Sunday last week at 15.00 WIB had secured a man.
"Securing one man with the initials MR (26) on Sunday (14/6) at 15.00 WIB in the Bekasi area," he said in his statement quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 30.
Fatoni explained that the operation to arrest the hand by Unit 2 Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya began with a report from the community.
"Residents suspect activities at a roadside coffee shop that is often used as a place for illegal drug transactions," he said.
Following up on the information, the operational team then carried out a thorough investigation until finally carrying out a raid at the location in question.
From the results of the search at the crime scene (TKP), the police seized evidence in the form of ready-to-use drugs with a total of 693 pieces. The details of the seized evidence, namely 445 pieces of Tramadol, 128 pieces of Hexymer, and 120 pieces of Trihexyphenidyl 2 mg.
In addition to hundreds of pieces of hard drugs, officers also seized a number of other evidence, including two empty plastic clips, one mobile phone, a black bag, and a notebook that was allegedly used by the perpetrator to record the transaction.
"In addition, we also seized cash worth Rp330 thousand which was suspected to be the money from the sale of illegal hard drugs that day," he said.
To account for his actions and undergo further examination and development, the suspect MR and all the evidence have now been taken to the Ditresnarkoba office of the Metro Jaya Police.
