Discussion of the Introduction to the 2027 RAPBN, the Financial Note will be launched in August 2026

JAKARTA - The preliminary discussion of the State Budget Draft (RAPBN) for the 2027 Fiscal Year has been officially completed.

This stage is marked by the agreement of the Working Committee (Panja) report by the Budget Agency (Banggar) of the DPR RI together with the government.

The agreement was reached in a working meeting between the DPR RI and the government which took place at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Meanwhile, the meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Banggar of the DPR RI Said Abdullah and was attended by the Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, government officials, representatives of Bank Indonesia, and members of the Banggar of the DPR RI.

During the meeting, Banggar and the government agreed to the report of the Committee which had previously discussed various materials related to the preliminary discussion of the 2027 State Budget and the Government Work Plan (RKP) 2027.

"The approval is part of the series of processes for preparing the 2027 State Budget which is carried out through joint discussions between the DPR RI and the government," the Ministry of Finance wrote in its statement, Monday, June 29.

After the approval of the Panja report, the Chairman of the Banggar of the DPR RI officially handed over to the government the results of the compilation of various proposals originating from the commissions of the DPR RI, DPD RI, MPR RI, the Financial Audit Agency (BPK), as well as a number of other working partners.

This handover is part of the formal mechanism in the preliminary discussion of the 2027 State Budget.

With the completion of the preliminary stage, the government can now continue the process of preparing the 2027 State Budget in accordance with the schedule that has been set.

Furthermore, the government is scheduled to submit the Financial Note and the 2027 Budgetary Year Budget to the DPR RI in August 2026 as the beginning of a more in-depth discussion of the budget.
