Former Superglad guitarist, Dadi Yudistira died

JAKARTA - The news of grief once again enveloped the music industry of the country. Dadi Yudistira, former guitarist of Superglad, is reported to have died.

Although there is no official statement regarding the cause of Dadi's death, it is known that the guitarist breathed his last breath today, Monday, June 29.

The confirmation of Dadi's departure to the Creator was conveyed by Superglad through the official social media account.

"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un. Selamat jalan Dadi Yudistira," bunyi pernyataan akun Instagram resmi Superglad.

"Thank you for your dedication and great works for Indonesian music. May you find the most glorious place at the side of Allah SWT. Rest in power," he continued.

The wave of condolences was also conveyed by many Indonesian musicians who lost Dadi Yudistira.

"Rest in Power Dad," wrote Pandu Fuzztoni in the comment column of Superglad's upload.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun," said Bagus NTRL.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun Dadi," wrote Bondan Prakoso.

For information, Dadi Yudistira is one of the early members of Superglad when it debuted in 2003. He played a big role in the band until he finally left in 2019.

Together with Superglad, Dadi also produced a number of albums, including The Superglad (2003), When the Heart Speaks (2005), Flamboyan (2008), Without Distortion (2013), to Explain the World (2017).

After leaving Superglad, Dadi was known to be part of The Chronicles of Happiness Ride and Service, along with Raymond Liando and Bagas Satyawaki.
