Wanprestasi! Iphone XS 64 GB Rp34 Juta Tak Dibayar Pemenang Lelang KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said there were three auction winners who did not pay their obligations. One of them, the party who bid for a used iPhone XS 64 GB worth Rp34 million, was the former Head of the One-Stop Integrated Investment and Service Agency (DPMPTSP) of the City of Yogyakarta, Nurwidi Hartana.

"It's true (one of them is an iPhone XS 64GB mobile phone seized from Nurwidi Hartana, ed)," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when confirmed, Monday, June 29.

Then, the payment was also not made by the auction participants who won the iPhone 13 Pro Max capacity of 1 TB which came from the Hasanuddin case as well as the mobile phone from the Rachmat Fadjar case. "The total value of the default is Rp. 61.4 million," said Budi.

Even so, the anti-corruption commission still managed to deposit Rp39.8 billion into the state treasury from the auction of confiscated goods from corruptors in the June period.

Meanwhile, for goods that are declared to be in arrears will be auctioned again. "The plan in December 2026 coincides with World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia)," said Budi.

The auction assets that sold with the largest contribution came from the Sunjaya Purwadisastra case worth around IDR 16.6 billion; the Ahmad Taufik case around IDR 7.2 billion; Gazalba Saleh around IDR 6 billion; and the Tommy Adrian and Rudy Hartono Iskandar cases around IDR 3.3 billion.

"We appreciate the high participation of the public in participating in the auction of state confiscated goods. This enthusiasm shows that the auction mechanism which is open, transparent, and accountable is increasingly trusted by the public as part of the effort to recover assets from criminal acts of corruption," explained Budi.

"The KPK believes that the recovery of assets is an inseparable part of eradicating corruption. In addition to providing a deterrent effect for perpetrators, this mechanism also ensures that the results of the crime are no longer enjoyed by the perpetrators, but are returned to the state and society," he said.
