Five Famous People of the Country Awarded the Indonesian Judo Patriot Award

JAKARTA - Five Shinsei and national Judo sports figures were awarded an award by the General Chairman of the Indonesian Judo Association (PB PJSI) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, M.Sc.

Shinsei Mangatar said Hutagalung and Shinsei Pergiwati Rava from DKI Jakarta, Shinsei Ali Mursal Harahap from Lampung, Shinsei Prawoko from East Java and Shinsei Alexander Hary Wira from South Sulawesi, were awarded the Indonesian Judo Patriot Award for their role and contribution in the development and development of Judo sports in the country.

This award was handed over directly by General Maruli at the closing of the XVI 2026 Kasad Judo National Championship held at the Kartika GOR, Kostrad Infantry Division Headquarters, Cilodong, Depok on June 25-28, 2026.

Speaking to the media, General Maruli said he knew exactly the fifth contribution in building the sport of Judo in the country.

"I know exactly their journey. Some have been struggling since the 1960s to build Judo in Indonesia," explained General Maruli, who is also the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army, Sunday (28/6).

Kasad General Maruli also praised the five who are still active in developing and improving the sport of Judo in Indonesia.

"That's why we give them awards," Kasad explained.

General Maruli himself hopes that the results of the 2026 Kasad Judo Cup XVI National Games, which were attended by 1,424 participants from the general and TNI-Polri categories, will be used for the coaching of athletes who are directed, sustainable and professional, as well as a reference in preparing athletes to face championships at the national and international levels.

Out as the overall champion and the most gold medal winner for the Cadet, Junior and Senior categories of the DKI Jakarta Provincial PJSI, followed by West Java and Bali.

Meanwhile, for the overall champion and the most gold medal winner in the TNI-Polri category, namely the Bali Police, followed by Paspampres and Kopassus.

For individual achievements, they came out as the best Cadet male judoka, namely Rafka Adita from the South Sumatra Provincial Office of the Indonesian Judo Association, and Dhanya Ghyin Juanda from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Office for Cadet girls.

In the Junior category, Daud Verdinand Pelupessy from the East Java Provincial Office of the Indonesian National Student Association (PJSI) came out as the best in the boys' group, as well as Bali's Bali Provincial Office of the Indonesian National Student Association (PJSI) in the girls' group.

Meanwhile, in the Senior category, Muh. Rizqi Maula from the West Java Provincial Office of the Indonesian National Student Association (PJSI) came out as the best in the boys' group, as well as Chelsea Tiffany Cia from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Office of the Indonesian National Student Association (PJSI) as the best in the girls' group.

And in the TNI-Polri category, Serka Made Agus Yoga from Kodam III Siliwangi and Serka (K) Vika out as the best in the male and female categories.
