Pramono Anung Hopes Jakarta Residents Can Live Happy and Comfortable

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo hopes that residents of the capital city can live comfortably, easily and happily during the peak event of the 499th Anniversary of Jakarta.

"I hope that the people of Jakarta will live comfortably, easily, and happily," said Pramono at HI Roundabout, Central Jakarta, Saturday (27/6) evening.

Therefore, he continued, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continues to improve public transportation services, prioritizing the resolution of waste problems, reducing flooding, and accelerating the construction of integrated infrastructure.

In line with Pramono, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno also said that the 500th anniversary of Jakarta in 2027 is an important momentum to prepare the city to face global challenges.

For this reason, Rano said that development in Jakarta will continue to prioritize the interests and welfare of its citizens.

"Jakarta must be ready to welcome global changes. But the most important thing is not just building tall buildings, but improving human welfare. Therefore, the development that has begun will continue to be continued so that the community can feel the benefits more and more," said Rano.

The series of celebrations for the 499th anniversary of Jakarta continues on Sunday (28/6) through the Jakarta Full Color event at HI Roundabout, Central Jakarta.

To enliven the next event at HI Roundabout, this week the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government temporarily canceled the car free day (CFD) in Rasuna Said.

The goal is so that all people can focus and enjoy the events on the Sudirman-Thamrin road.

Because cultural performances, sports, music, and creativity will be featured in the celebration involving the participation of the community.
