Guns N’ Roses Ready to Shake Jakarta with a More Intimate Stage at the GBK Madya Stadium

JAKARTA - Rock music lovers in the country are preparing to welcome one of the most iconic bands in the world. Guns N' Roses (GNR) is confirmed to greet their fans in Indonesia in a series of world tours scheduled to take place at the Madya Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Central Jakarta, on November 21.

Anas Alimi, Founder of Rajawali Indonesia as a promoter, said that in the series of tours in Southeast Asia this time, the legendary band from the United States only chose two countries to stop by.

"So this is part of the tour, the GNR's World Tour in Jakarta. And in Southeast Asia, it's only Jakarta and Singapore. There are no other countries," said Anas at a press conference in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday, June 26.

Anas added that the return of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan after eight years ago is a strong proof of the attractiveness of the entertainment market in Indonesia. He also hopes that this concert will be able to provide a significant positive impact, not only for music lovers across generations, but also for the creative industry, the tourism sector, and the local economy.

Unlike previous events that often use stadiums with giant capacity, the selection of the Madya Stadium was deliberately carried out in order to create a more intimate and personal atmosphere for the show. However, Rajawali Indonesia guarantees that the production presented is still world-class with a spectacular stage design.

Rajawali Indonesia President Director, Tovic Raharja, also expressed his pride when he was able to bring GNR back to Indonesia. According to him, this moment will be a new history that many of their loyal fans are looking forward to.

"Bringing Guns N' Roses back to Indonesia is a special honor for us. This is a moment that will be remembered by Indonesian rock music fans across generations. We are very excited to welcome thousands of fans to witness one of the biggest rock performances this year," added Tovic.

The concert also serves as a new round of proof for Guns N' Roses after the release of their two new songs, "Nothin'" and "Atlas". Both works are the first fresh material released by GNR since 2023, which features a mix of intense rock energy.

For rock music lovers who don't want to miss this historic moment, the promoter has prepared a ticket sales schedule that is divided into three phases.

The initial sale will be opened through the Nightrain Fans/Artist Presale channel on July 2. Furthermore, the second phase is special for customers through the Bale by BTN Presale will start on July 16. Meanwhile, the sale for the public or General Sales will only be officially opened on July 30.

Periodic information regarding ticket purchase details and procedures can be accessed through the official website gnrjakarta.com or the official social media accounts of the promoter.
