Minister of Transportation Gives Appreciation to Korlantas for Lebaran Transportation 2026
JAKARTA - Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi gave an award to the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) for successfully securing the implementation of the 2026 Lebaran Transportation.
The award was handed over to the ranks of the National Police at the Madellu Hall, NTMC Building, National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday.
The National Police Deputy Chief, Inspector General Pol. Agus Suryonugroho, appreciated the award and called it a form of attention and motivation for all personnel who served during Operation Ketupat 2026.
"This award is a form of respect for all personnel of the Korlantas Polri who have worked without knowing the time during the Ketupat Operation," he said in an official statement.
Agus said the success of Operation Ketupat 2026 was the result of the synergy of various parties to realize security, safety, order, and traffic flow for the community.
"The state must be present to ensure security, safety, order, and traffic flow during the Lebaran transportation period," he said.
Meanwhile, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi appreciated the solidity and cooperation between the Ministry of Transportation and the National Police in managing the 2026 Eid homecoming and return flow.
Dudy assessed that the success of traffic management was inseparable from various innovations by the National Police, especially the implementation of traffic engineering in the form of a partial one-way system and a national one-way system on toll roads.
"What has been done by Korlantas under the leadership of Pak Kakorlantas, with innovations such as one way (one way) for a while, one way for a while nationally, it is a new breakthrough in overcoming or how to break down the density during Lebaran on toll roads in particular, and it has an impact on services during Lebaran so that it can run smoothly," he explained.
He hopes that service innovations in the field of traffic will continue to be developed, including to face the implementation of Christmas 2026 and New Year 2027 transportation.
The award was given to the National Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Agus Suryonugroho along with a number of senior officials of the National Police and the ranks of the Head of Road Patrol (PJR) who were considered to have contributed to the success of the 2026 Lebaran Transportation.
Some of them are the Head of Operations of the National Police, Kombes Pol. Aries Syahbudin, the Head of the Traffic and Traffic Safety Division of the National Police, Kombes Pol. Ruben Verry Takaendengan, the Head of the Traffic and Traffic Safety Division of the National Police, Kombes Pol. Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto, to the ranks of the Head of the National Police on a number of strategic routes such as Jagorawi, Cikampek, Cipularang, Cipali, Serang, and Bitung.
