Tuai Protes, Transjakarta Explains the Reason for Stopping Operations on Routes 1N and 10D

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) explained the reason for the suspension of the 1N Tanah Abang-Blok M and 10D Tanjung Priok-Kampung Rambutan routes starting July 1, 2026. This policy previously sparked protests from a number of residents who have relied on these two routes to carry out their activities.

President Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta Welfizon Yuza said the suspension of services was the result of periodic evaluation of customer travel patterns and operational effectiveness. From the results of the evaluation, both routes were assessed to have an overlapping level with other Transjakarta services that cross similar corridors.

"We periodically evaluate each service based on customer travel patterns and operational performance. This adjustment is carried out so that the fleet can be used more optimally while maintaining the overall quality of service," said Welfizon in his statement, Friday, June 26.

Through this adjustment, as many as 25 fleets will be diverted to strengthen services on routes with higher demand levels. This step is also aimed at reducing customer waiting times without reducing transportation access because all stopping points along routes 1N and 10D are claimed to be served through alternative routes.

Transjakarta ensures that all public facilities along the two routes can still be reached. A total of 68 points along route 10D and 47 points on route 1N are still served by other Transjakarta networks.

"We have also prepared alternative travel so that customers can still do mobility comfortably," said Welfizon.

For customers on route 1N, travel to Blok M can be made using route 9D from Tanah Abang, then transit at Bus Stop Plaza Sentral and continue the journey using route 1P. Meanwhile, from Blok M to Tanah Abang, customers can use route 1P, transit at Bus Stop Benhil 3, then continue the journey with route 9D.

Meanwhile, for customers of route 10D, the journey from Kampung Rambutan to Tanjung Priok can be taken through two alternatives, namely using route 7F and transit at the Utan Kayu Rawamangun Stop before continuing with Corridor 10, or using Corridor 7 and transit at the Cawang Cililitan Stop before switching to Corridor 10.

The journey from Tanjung Priok to Kampung Rambutan is also provided with two options. Customers can use Corridor 10 and transit at the Utan Kayu Rawamangun Stop to continue their journey with route 7F, or transit at the Cawang Cililitan Stop to switch to Corridor 7.

Transjakarta urges the public to check the travel route through the application and official Transjakarta information channels so that they can adjust their travel after the two routes are officially stopped.
