Support Student Financial Literacy, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Holds 'Adventure to Bank Sampoerna' Program

JAKARTA - As part of its commitment to improving people's financial literacy, PT Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna) held a financial literacy program entitled "Adventuring to Bank Sampoerna" in Jakarta, on Thursday, June 25. This activity was attended by 46 students ranging from grade 4 of elementary school to grade 3 of junior high school.

This activity was opened by the Director of Information Technology Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Hendra Rahardja, who conveyed the importance of building an understanding of financial management so that the younger generation is increasingly ready to face the development of a dynamic financial world.

Through this activity, participants also received education on the basics of digital finance, the importance of maintaining security in transactions, as well as how to recognize and avoid various fraud methods that are increasingly developing in the digital era today.

In addition to attending the educational session, the students were invited to tour the Bank Sampoerna office to get to know more about banking operations. They had the opportunity to see firsthand various activities in the bank environment, from trying to use an ATM machine, learning how to distinguish real and fake money, using an ATM machine, getting to know the IT security system, to witnessing the treasury transaction process and various other banking operational functions.

Through the "Adventure to Bank Sampoerna" program, Bank Sampoerna hopes to provide an interactive learning experience while fostering an understanding of the importance of financial literacy from a young age.
