Jasa Marga ensures that the narrative of 28 Jakarta toll gates is odd and even is not true

JAKARTA - Information about the implementation of odd-even at 28 Jakarta Toll Gates (GT) went viral on social media and made many road users restless. Jasa Marga as the toll road manager immediately straightened the news which was considered not true.

"Regarding the information circulating regarding the implementation of odd even in several Jakarta Inner Toll Gates, we need to convey that the implementation of odd even only applies to arterial roads that have been previously determined," wrote the Management of Jasa Marga through its official Instagram account @official.jasamarga, quoted Friday, June 26.

"And until now there has been no change in provisions related to traffic operations and the implementation of odd even on toll roads," he continued.

Information circulating said there were 28 toll roads that were affected by odd even every Monday-Friday. The schedule is also the same as odd even on arterial roads, namely from 06.00-10.00 WIB and 16.00-21.00 WIB.

Based on the Governor's Regulation (Pergub) Number 88 of 2019 concerning Odd-Even Traffic, the policy only applies to arterial roads. The implementation on the toll road is only carried out during the Lebaran homecoming season to facilitate traffic flow.

The company also urges the public to ensure the accuracy of information only through the Jasa Marga official website and social media accounts.
