Debut Main Film, Jirayut Curhat Susahnya Syuting Horor
JAKARTA - Jirayut finally officially entered the acting world through his first feature film in the horror comedy genre titled Cek Khodam.
Although known as a cheerful figure, Jirayut admitted that he had to fight extra hard when dealing with scary scenes, especially when he had to play roles with the spirit.
The hardest challenge Jirayut felt was when he had to do a scene with Genderuwo.
"The scene that I feel is the same as genderuwo, God takes it many times, yes sir? Because it doesn't fit, it keeps coming back to the body like that," said Jirayut when met in the Jakarta area, Thursday, June 25.
The shooting process was admitted by Jirayut to be very exhausting and concentrated because it required proper synchronization.
"Because it has to fit and the timing also has to fit with the mouth-to-mouth of genderuwo as I am," he added.
So difficult was the scene, Jirayut joked about the condition of his appearance during filming.
"So it's like oh my god, oh my god, on one side, oh my god, my teeth are gone," he said.
However, behind his jokes, the singer from Thailand still prioritizes professionalism on the set.
"On the other hand, okay I have to be professional and also I have to give my best for this Cek Khodam film," he said.
Jirayut realized that his debut on the big screen was a big opportunity that should not be wasted.
"Because this is my stage, I don't want to disappoint the people who watch," said Jirayut.
Apart from the technical challenges, Jirayut also feels lucky to have the full support of the entire production team.
"It's also nice that all the teams, all the crew are really good at teaching, so they don't... they don't judge like that," he explained.
The support made him feel comfortable even though he had to face his own fear of mystical things.
"I also feel happy, so it feels good to walk because all my friends are working together," he added.
For him, involvement in this film is not just a job, but a place to learn new things that he has never encountered before.
"I don't know, I feel like I've got new things that I've never gotten before," said Jirayut.
Now, Jirayut hopes that his hard work with the team in fighting against the challenges during filming can be well received by the public.
"There are many hikmah, for sure I got new friends, got new experiences too. That's it," he concluded.
