DJKA Harno Trimadi Corruption Case Convicted Again as KPK Suspect

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again named Harno Trimadi as a former Director of the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation as a suspect. This determination relates to the alleged bribery of the railway line development project of the Director General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) in East Java.

"Yes, HT is a suspect in the East Java DJKA case," said Acting Director of KPK Investigation Ahmad Taufik Husein when confirmed by reporters quoted on Friday, June 26.

Meanwhile, for the alleged bribery of DJKA in the South Sumatra region, said Taufik, the investigation is still ongoing and no suspects have been determined. The process uses a general investigation order (sprindik).

Harno Trimadi is known to be a convict in the case of receiving bribes for the DJKA Ministry of Transportation project for the period 2018-2022. He was found guilty of receiving Rp3.2 billion along with Fadliansyah as the former Commitment Maker Official (PPK) DJKA Ministry of Transportation.

The Jakarta Corruption Court has sentenced Harno to five years in prison. He was also fined Rp. 200 million subsider four months in prison and ordered to pay compensation of Rp. 900 million, 30 thousand Singapore dollars, and 20 thousand US dollars. If not paid, he must serve a substitute prison sentence for two years.

Meanwhile, Fadliansyah was sentenced to four years in prison and a fine of Rp200 million, with four months in prison. He was also ordered to pay compensation of Rp1.7 billion.

If the substitute money is not paid, Fadliansyah's property will be seized and auctioned by the prosecutor. If the value of the assets is insufficient, the sentence will be replaced with a one-year prison sentence.
