Woman in Jambret After Returning from Muaythai Training in Kelapa Gading

JAKARTA - A woman with the initials R became a victim of a cellphone snatching while standing on the side of Jalan Biru Laut Depan Lyma Brisket, RW 09, Kelapa Gading Timur Village, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta. As a result of the incident, the victim lost her iPhone 11.

Kelapa Gading Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Kiki Tanlim said, based on the results of the examination of witnesses, the victim had just returned home from training at a muaythai training ground in the area.

"The victim was going to order Grab while holding the cellphone. Then a man on a Vario motorcycle came and immediately took the victim's cellphone and ran away," said AKP Kiki when confirmed, Wednesday, June 24, 2021.

The perpetrator fled towards Jalan Gading Putih Raya. The victim had asked for help from a witness but when he tried to find the perpetrator he had disappeared.

"We have examined a number of witnesses and directed the victim to make a police report," he said.

His party has also collected videos of the robbery and currently the team is continuing to investigate the whereabouts of the perpetrators.

"We continue to work to pursue the perpetrators," he said.
