Google Cloud Appoints Karim Siregar as Country Director for Indonesia
Google Cloud officially appointed Karim Siregar as Country Director for Indonesia, with the main objective of supporting businesses and organizations of various scales to utilize Google Cloud's open and integrated AI solutions.
Thus, Karim will be under the leadership of Mark Micallef, Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Google Cloud, and lead Google Cloud's operations and market strategy in Indonesia.
Through this new position, Karim is expected to work across teams to deliver AI-based solutions that have a real impact and address the evolving needs of customers.

Karim's outstanding track record in building, managing, and developing digital institutions in Indonesia makes him the right person to lead the next growth phase," said Mark in his statement.
Before joining Google Cloud, Karim held various senior leadership positions at a number of leading financial and technology institutions in Indonesia. His last position was as Chief Information Officer at PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN).
Previously, Karim was the first President Director of PT Bank Jago Tbk, where he was one of the key figures behind the development of Bank Jago as a pioneer of a fully integrated digital bank with a digital ecosystem.
At the same time, he also served as CEO of Dkatalis Digital Labs. His track record of leadership for more than 20 years also includes roles as Director of Information Technology at Bank BTPN (now Bank SMBCI Tbk) as well as various leadership positions in the field of technology infrastructure at Bank Danamon and Bank Mega.
Mark believes that Karim's deep understanding of integrated digital systems, financial inclusion, and cross-platform collaboration will strengthen Google Cloud's position to continue to be a trusted partner for organizations in Indonesia in maximizing the potential of the Agency Era.
