Two Apartment Units in Duren Sawit Burned Due to Electrical Short Circuit

JAKARTA - The fire of two rented units on Jalan Arabika, RT 002/RW 07, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, on Wednesday morning was allegedly caused by an electrical short circuit.

After receiving the report, the first fire unit immediately arrived at the location at 04.07 WIB, and the extinguishing operation began at 04.08 WIB.

"The fire was successfully localized at 04.15 WIB so that it did not spread to other buildings around the location," said Abdul.

Then, the cooling phase began at 04.38 WIB, and the fire was declared complete at around 05.55 WIB.

The East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-Office deployed 12 fire trucks with the support of 60 personnel.
