Deny Allegations of Making it Difficult for Ruben Onsu to Meet His Children, Sarwendah's Legal Representative: Don't Misinterpret Act 39!

JAKARTA - The issue of efforts to prevent Ruben Onsu from meeting his children was strongly denied by Sarwendah's party. Chris Sam Siwu stated that the relationship between Sarwendah and Ruben regarding children's affairs is still running, even they just met at the airport.

"Regarding the difficulty of my child, explain that our client has never made it difficult for the child. Just prove to us where it is difficult, yes, related to the child," said Chris Sam Siwu in Central Jakarta, Tuesday, June 23.

Chris gave a concrete example of a meeting that recently occurred when one of the parties returned from abroad.

"What happened was that Wendah met with the children, met with RO (Ruben Onsu) yes at the airport, if I'm not mistaken, it was from abroad. Actually, he had already gone home earlier, but he was waiting for Wendah to be able to meet the children," he said.

He also emphasized that the children's communication access and residence address are always open to Ruben.

"So if you say it's difficult, I'm also funny, where is it difficult? The house is there, the place where his children live is there. Just stay in communication with his father WA to his mother," said Chris.

Regarding the debate about who should take or pick up the child, Chris referred to Act 39 which was their agreement. He asked that there be no wild interpretation that said his client was making it difficult just because he didn't pick up the child.

"Don't understand that we don't bring the child, we are considered to make it difficult. In the agreement of the 39th deed, it is never regulated about who brings it, there is only how many days together. So don't interpret that we are silent not bringing it, it is said that we are making it difficult," he said.

Chris argues that the main problem is actually in the communication pattern of the two parents that needs to be improved.

"What exists is the communication of the two parents that must be improved according to us. The child's right to meet with both parents is an absolute right, yes," explained Chris again.

Furthermore, Chris invited Ruben Onsu's lawyer to cool things down together.

"I will reprimand my client, Bang Minola is as good as he can reprimand his client if the communication between them... there is no such thing as a former father and a former mother," he reminded.

Chris also touched on the presence of other people around the children, which should not be questioned if the goal is to love the child.

"If what is being questioned is that our children are loved by people, where is the logic? We should know that if we have children, we know that our children are loved by people, we are happy," Chris said sarcastically.

In order to maintain the mental health of children who have started to grow up, Sarwendah's party chose not to be too frontal in the media.

"These children are quite mature, we avoid reporting too much in the media," said Chris Sam Siwu.

In the end, he emphasized that all actions taken by his client at this time are only for the best interests of their child.

"His son still loves him, he can still see him smiling, it's a happiness for Sarwendah and for his children," concluded Chris.
