West Java Police Will Immediately Issue DPO for Perpetrators of Kidnapping a Woman in Bandung

BANDUNG - The West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) will immediately issue a wanted person list (DPO) against a man with the initials TH who kidnapped and abused his girlfriend with the initials YTR (29) in Bandung Regency, West Java for about three years.

Head of Public Relations of West Java Police Kombes Hendra Rochmawan said that at present, investigators are still carrying out the process of determining the suspect before issuing a DPO against the alleged perpetrator.

"We will first determine the suspects, then issue the DPO," said Hendra as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 23.

Hendra said the West Java Police had formed a joint team to pursue the alleged perpetrators.

"The perpetrator has not been arrested. We have just formed this joint team," he said.

According to him, based on the results of the visum, the victim suffered serious injuries which impacted his physical condition.

"What is certain is that both eyes based on the results of the visa have been blind. That's the worst. The upper front teeth are six broken and the lips are already cleft," said Hendra.

Hendra explained that the case was revealed after the victim's family received a message via the WhatsApp application from an unknown person who informed the victim was at the Emergency Hospital Installation of Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung.

"After that, the victim's family came to the RSHS and it was found that the victim was seriously injured in the head, face, legs, and minor injuries on the hands," he said.

He revealed that before being found at the hospital, the victim was not known to the family for about three years.

"Previously the victim disappeared, there was no news and his whereabouts were unknown for about three years," said Hendra.
