Is this the latest Honda motorcycle that will be launched in Indonesia tomorrow?

JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) is confirmed to introduce its latest motorcycle product in Indonesia on Wednesday, June 24. Although it has not revealed the identity of the model to be launched, a number of clues have begun to point to several candidates who are said to be ready to enliven the national two-wheeled market.

Information about the launch was known from an official invitation received by the VOI editorial staff. As usual, AHM did not list the product name in the invitation and only mentioned the time and location of the event.

"In connection with the introduction of Honda's new motorcycle product, we hereby invite you to attend the press conference held on Wednesday, June 24," the invitation read, quoted Tuesday, June 23.

Based on the information listed in the invitation, the event will take place at the AHM Safety Riding and Training Center, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. In addition to the launch ceremony, AHM usually also provides a test ride session for the journalists who attend.

Various rumors have emerged regarding the new model, the most top is the Honda Airblade 160 which was launched in Vietnam, and will use the name Ryden 160 for the Indonesian market. This sporty-style scooter is predicted to be a new rival for the Yamaha Aerox in the high-performance matic scooter segment.

The suspicion was further strengthened after AHM was recorded as registering the name Ryden 160 to the Intellectual Property Database (PDKI) owned by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Looking at the data on the PDKI website shows that the application for registration of the Ryden 160 trademark was filed on June 11, 2026 and published six days later. The name is included in Class 12 which includes two-wheeled vehicles, including motorcycles, electric motors, as well as various supporting components.

In addition to Ryden 160, the latest generation of Honda Genio is also said to have the opportunity to be introduced. The reason is that the model has not received a thorough update since it first appeared about six years ago.

On the other hand, there is also news that the new motorcycle that AHM will introduce is the latest version of the Honda Vario 160. The scooter was last present in the latest generation in 2022 and until now has not received any significant updates.

Rumors are circulating that the new model carries the development code K2SM with a design that is more aggressive and sharp compared to its predecessor. It's interesting to wait, what Honda motorcycle will be launched tomorrow.
