Learning Through YouTube, Kenny Austin Admits He's Still Afraid of Bathing His Child
JAKARTA - Kenny Austin is now enjoying his new role as a father after the birth of Baby Zac. Interestingly, Kenny admitted that he learned to take care of babies autodidactically through digital platforms so as not to be surprised when dealing with his baby.
"Instan itu mah. Nggak lama ya (belajarnya). YouTube mulu kerjaannya, YouTube. Sekarang FYP-nya bayi-bayi semua nih. Makanya explore cara mandiin bayi gimana," ujar Kenny Austin di kawasan Jakarta, belum lama ini.
Seeing her husband's enthusiasm, Amanda Manopo joked about Kenny's learning process. Kenny immediately defended himself with a joking tone but full of affection.
"His son became a test subject," Amanda joked while laughing.
"Yes, it's my own child, not my child. Who do you think the child is? Sorry," added Kenny Austin.
Even though he looks very excited about bathing babies, Kenny actually still has limitations in taking care of Baby Zac's needs. There is one thing that until now he hasn't dared to do himself, namely cleaning the child's dirt.
"Not yet (have a pup). Why? Because I don't know, I admit I might have said 'I don't have to do it anymore', because I'm afraid it won't be clean or what will happen later, it will be irritation. So yeah, that's it," explained Kenny honestly.
This apparently relates to Baby Zac's condition which has quite sensitive skin. Amanda explained that the condition of the child's skin is declining from Kenny's own genetics.
"He is sensitive, his skin is quite sensitive, just like his father. So anything can easily turn red, gatel," said Amanda Manopo.
Kenny Austin confirmed this while showing his skin condition. "Gatel-gatel lagi gatel, this is red again," Kenny replied.
Although still picky about tasks, Amanda still appreciates her husband's hard work in preparing to become a parent.
"We are actually preparing, not only... we are basically from the beginning have prepared the psyche, the mental, and whatever the parents who have children may tell you," concluded Amanda.
