Escaping Detention, Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa Promise to Continue to Fight
JAKARTA - Roy Suryo expressed his gratitude after he and Tifauzia Tyassuma (doctor Tifa) were not detained by the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office (Kejari Jaksel) in a case of alleged defamation and defamation related to the controversy over the authenticity of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Roy Suryo expressed his appreciation to friends, colleagues, and parties who have provided support during the legal process until he and Tifa's doctor were not detained.
He also thanked the media and the public who continued to follow the development of the case. According to Roy Suryo, their struggle will continue.
"I am grateful to God Almighty that our struggle is not over. We will continue to strive to uphold the truth," said Roy Suryo to reporters at the Kejari Jaksel, Monday, June 22.
Roy Suryo emphasized that the legal process he is facing will not stop their efforts in fighting for what they believe to be the truth.
"Yes, we will continue to fight. We don't take into account anyone out there," he said.
On that occasion, Roy also expressed his appreciation to friends, colleagues, and parties who had provided support during the legal process until he and Dr. Tifa were not detained.
A similar statement was made by Tifa's doctor. He invited the public not to be afraid to convey the truth and to use science for the benefit of the nation.
"We must support all forms of goodness for this country with the knowledge we have. Never be afraid to speak the truth," he said.
Previously, the Jakarta State Prosecutor's Office decided not to detain Roy Suryo and doctor Tifa even though both of them had been named suspects in the alleged defamation and defamation case related to the issue of the authenticity of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia's diploma Jokwi.
Before the transfer of the case to the prosecutor's office, Roy Suryo and doctor Tifa underwent a health examination at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, on Friday, June 19 at 17.55 WIB.
The two arrived at the hospital escorted by the Metro Jaya Police and immediately underwent an examination at the emergency installation (IGD).
The results of the examination showed that the general health conditions of the two were in good condition. However, the medical team found an accompanying disease that required further monitoring.
Based on the results of the examination, the doctor recommended that Roy Suryo and Tifa undergo inpatient treatment to ensure that their health conditions remain stable before continuing their activities.
