Lampung Kajati Promises Legal Process for MBG Poisoning Case

Lampung - The Head of the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) Danang Suryowibowo said that his party did not give any tolerance and was ready to process the parties who caused the food poisoning incident in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program in the area.

"If you follow the development of this MBG Program, it has been running for more than a year. And I think the time to fix everything is over, and everyone should be ready with this fairly established program to continue to be better," said Head of Kajati Lampung Danang Suryowibowo in Bandarlampung, Monday, June 22, reported by ANTARA.

Therefore, various things that are detrimental to the community, one of which is the occurrence of food poisoning in target recipients, so his party will process the case in accordance with the provisions.

"If there is still one more case of poisoning in Lampung, there can be no more tolerance. I immediately reported the report directly to Jamintel and Jampidsus, we will immediately report to the center and process it as the process is underway at the central level," he said.

He explained that strict supervision in the area would also be carried out, including on the aspect of food procurement in the MBG Program.

"Actually, all of this already has a process such as supervision, then nutritional monitoring and so on. This should be able to anticipate unwanted things," he said.

Until now, his party is still monitoring and continuing to follow the developments and orders given at the central level regarding cases in the MBG Program in Lampung.

"So far there have been no more cases, we are still monitoring. For Lampung, if there are findings or reports, we are open to receiving complaints and together with the local government, we will continue to monitor this program so that it is beneficial for the community," he added.

Regarding the sale and purchase of SPPG points or related to the management of the nominal portion of MBG of Rp. 10 thousand per portion that was misused, his party will look at the evidence and facts that occurred in the field to be followed up.

"Then about the number or nomination of Rp. 10 thousand per portion which is the right of the people should be managed properly and fully beneficial. Not to be played or look for profit there, so if someone deviates we will process it and we have to control this. It should be all recorded and transparent," said Danang Suryowibowo.
