Ruben Onsu Reveals Evidence of Alleged Doctrine and Exploitation of Children by Sarwendah's Party
JAKARTA - The hot atmosphere envelops the dispute between Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah. Through his lawyer, Minola Sebayang, Ruben filed a complaint to the KPAI regarding the alleged exploitation of children to psychological suppression or doctrine experienced by Thalia and Thania.
One of the things that is being questioned is the involvement of children in commercial activities on social media during breaks.
"Children should not be brought into a work environment or employed where we consider it outside the child's study hours. Don't use the child's break time for things like that," said Minola Sebayang in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 22.
Minola also highlighted live content on social media involving children until late at night.
"Children are invited to participate in live at night, not in the children's hours who should still be working or active. Even in the live itself, there are situations that are actually not safe for children, such as adult languages," he continued.
Not only about work, Ruben's party suspects that there is a systematic effort to keep children away from their biological father through certain doctrines.
"We showed some videos and evidence related to the alleged attempt to indoctrinate children so that they do not want to be with their father or maybe there are fears," said Minola.
Minola added that whenever the children meet Ruben, a negative narrative is deliberately built.
"What comes out is 'as soon as you meet your father, the children are sick'. So there is always a procession so that these children are considered bad if they meet their father," said Minola.
This psychological pressure is considered very dangerous for the mental development of Thalia and Thania who are still minors.
"Bullying can be divided into two, physical and psychological. If it is suspected that in the house itself there is conditioning that makes the child depressed and cannot be what he is, it is a violation," explained Minola.
Ruben Onsu himself admitted that he was very sad to see the condition of his children who were allegedly used as a tool in the conflict of adults.
"There is a lot of that (social media live) among which we have conveyed. Because this is the Child Protection Commission, of course, what we discuss about children and what is the child's right," said Ruben.
Minola told the emotional moment when Ruben took his children to play because he was only given very limited time.
"Ruben has to find a way to make the most of it in one day. He invites them to the mall, toys, and food. It turns out that these children have never been taken there by their mother until they are happy to ride the 8 to 9 times," he said.
According to Minola, the reason "the child does not want to meet" is often only a shield for the mother's side to limit Ruben's access.
"Adults should regulate him. It was conveyed, 'this week you have to meet your father', instead of saying 'oh the child doesn't want to'. It is contrary to Act 39," he said again.
