Yamaha Strengthens Safety Campaign with Safety Riding Day 2026

JAKARTA - Yamaha Indonesia held an educational program through the Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA), to increase public awareness about the importance of safety on the road. Because, driving safety is one of the aspects that have always been the main concern for Yamaha. This commitment was again realized through the implementation of the 2026 Yamaha Safety Riding Day, this activity involves various elements of society ranging from schoolchildren, motorcycle communities to the National Police. Manager of Public Relations, YRA & Community PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), Rifki Maulana, said as a motorcycle manufacturer, Yamaha has a great responsibility to support the creation of a culture of driving safety in Indonesia. "Therefore, we continue to present various campaigns and safety riding education programs that target various layers of society, ranging from children, students, communities, to general consumers," he said, in an official statement received, Monday, June 22. The Yamaha Safety Riding Day 2026 activity was started with the YRA Kids program which was attended by elementary school children. In this session, the participants received education about traffic signs directly delivered by the police. The material provided was packaged in a light and fun way so that it was easy for participants to understand.

Not only that, children are also invited to get to know various components of motorcycles and their functions, including the importance of using oil to maintain vehicle performance. After getting the basic theory, the participants then experienced driving directly using the Yamaha PW50 unit in the practice area that has been prepared. "Through the Yamaha Safety Riding Day 2026, we want to invite the public to be more aware that safety must always be the top priority every time you drive," he added. The fun of the event continued through the Meet & Greet session with Aldi Satya Mahendra, Yamaha Racing Indonesia racer and World Supersport 300 World Champion (WorldSSP300). On this occasion, Aldi shared stories about his career journey until he was able to achieve achievements at the world level. He also gave motivation to young participants to dare to dream, work hard, and continue to fight to realize their dreams.
