44 Evidence of Alleged Violations of Muprov Jabar Kadin Entering PN Jaksel

JAKARTA - The controversy of the West Java Chamber of Commerce has entered a new phase. A total of 44 proofs of alleged violations in the implementation of the West Java Chamber of Commerce Provincial Consultative Meeting (Muprov) in Bogor were submitted to the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, June 18.

The evidence submitted by Rajab Prijadi and Mulyadi's lawyer, Roy Sianipar, is part of a lawsuit questioning the legality of the Bogor Muprov which appointed Almer Faiq Rusyidi as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce.

The documents submitted amounted to around 500 sheets and were compiled in a number of large maps. The panel of judges led by Eman Sulaeman had examined the file before giving the defendants until July 2, 2026 to submit an answer.

With the agenda of the trial still ongoing, the dispute over the legality of the Muprov Kadin West Java is expected to last quite a long time.

Roy said that dozens of evidence submitted showed a series of violations in the implementation of the Bogor Muprov. These evidences are expected to be considered by the panel of judges in deciding the case.

"This trial has shown a power struggle between the parties. Therefore, we are ready to face this legal process, including presenting expert witnesses who will explain the alleged violations in the implementation of the Bogor Muprov," said Roy after the trial.

In addition to expert witnesses, the plaintiffs also prepared seven witnesses who knew directly about the course of Muprov Bogor which resulted in Almer Faiq Rusyidi as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce.

According to Roy, the essence of the lawsuit filed by Rajab Prijadi and Mulyadi is the implementation of the Bogor Muprov which is considered legally flawed and not in accordance with the AD/ART of the organization.

This question then triggered the dualism of the leadership of the West Java Chamber of Commerce after two Muprov West Java Chambers of Commerce 8 were held on the same day, September 24, 2025, in Bogor and Bandung.

In the Muprov Bandung, Nizar Sungkar was elected as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce. Roy emphasized that the process took place in accordance with the organization's AD/ART.

On the other hand, Muprov Bogor which appointed Almer Faiq Rusyidi as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce was considered to have hit the organization's rules.

Roy assessed that the General Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry did not take the steps expected to resolve the conflict. According to Roy, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry previously promised to bring together Nizar Sungkar and Almer Faiq Rusyidi to end the leadership duality in West Java.

However, the meeting never took place. The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) instead ratified and appointed Almer as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cirebon on November 27, 2025.

The decision then sparked disappointment among a number of district and city Kadin managers in West Java. Through the Chairman of the Garut Kadin, Rajab Prijadi, and the Chairman of the Indramayu Kadin, Mulyadi Cahya, they sued the Kadin Indonesia leadership to court.

In the case registered with number 1356/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL, the defendants include the General Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Deputy Chairman of the Organization Taufan Eko Nugroho, Deputy General Chairman Widiyanto Daputro, and Deputy General Chairman Erwin Aksa.
